Bio: Sulaah Bien-Aime [www.houseofonyxstudios.com]

Sulaah Bien-Aime born in Brooklyn, NY is a Haitian-American entrepreneur. In 2003, Sulaah founded Kafou, Inc. to provide online (kafouinc.com) marketing and media services to the independent community of Artists, Musicians, Actors, and Filmmakers in the Caribbean/International Entertainment community. Under the Kafou Inc. umbrella are House of Onyx Studios, a photography studio and K.I. Multimedia that provide production and media services. House of Onyx Studios is about tying and integrating all the elements of what Kafou, Inc. represents through photography and consistently creating opportunities for the unsigned and unknown to help create a professional, clean brand where an artist/entrepreneur can go and compete in a heavily saturated market. The goal for House of Onyx Studios is to create resources and opportunities for models, entertainers, actors, make-up artists, fashion designers and most importantly by working together, connecting resources, referrals and networks.

Among her many accomplishments, Sulaah is a published writer, screenwriter, television show producer and director under the Kafou, Inc. banner as well as being heavily involved in the Creole Hip Hop movement by launching the “I AM CREOLE HIP HOP Marketing campaign. The campaign was well received; where it received endorsements by DJ Envy of Hot 97, The Hot 97 the radio station, French Beats International and KRS-ONE. At this point, Sulaah is heavily focused on both her Photography services and working with people from all walks of life. In addition to her photography services, Sulaah is set to release her very first short film and more photography and video projects. Some call Sulaah, the modern day renaissance woman, but in her view, each step that she takes is a step where she will be in a better position to help her country as well as other countries that are suffering from poverty and hunger.
