IF YOU EVER HAD A DREAM OR PASSION FACEBOOK "THIS IS A MUST READ" GET INVOLVED MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!

Hello,
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Chef Michael M. I believe everyone should have a professional caterer on speed dial and should know that person by first name. I am the owner of Comfort Zone Cooking. Since 2006, we have been committed, not only, to providing delicious “North Meets South Cuisine” but also to ‘giving back’ by organizing charitable food events.

We continue this commitment with our next event, Sweet Charity a Pastry Tasting for Charity, on December 13, 2009. Our vision is to create a platform to support local businesses in the New York area. This event will feature local pastry chefs, giving individuals and opportunity to taste an array of sweets just in time to plan their holiday dinners and parties. It will also provide the chefs with an opportunity to promote their businesses.

Proceeds and admission donations will go to supporting Food Bank For New York, a charity who works to end hunger and increase access to affordable, nutritious food for low-income New Yorkers through a comprehensive group of programs that combat hunger and its causes.

Pastry Tasting for Charity will be co-presented by the nationally syndicated, Initiative Radio, with Angela McKenzie. The program focuses on the philanthropic and altruistic activities of corporations both for profit and not-for-profit, inter-governmental organizations, persons of repute and everyday people. The program also gives exposure to under represented artists of all disciplines and in an effort to consistently engage a youthful audience, urban and alternative music specials are presented on a recurring basis.

We are looking for talented local pastry chefs, bakers, still life, visual and spoken word artists, event planners, florists, singers, models, and musicians, painters, photographers, perfume/oil creators and organic juice makers, small business also that conform with food; who would like to participate in this event.

If you are, or know of, a small business that would like to launch a product or would like to be involved in this incredible event, please contact me at:
